Welcome to MarriedCatholicPriests.Net
Reverend Ron Crowley-Koch (contact me)
I am originally from Green Bay, Wis.
I was ordained a Norbertine Catholic priest on Dec. 21, 1968.
I earned a Master’s degree in English from
DePaul University in Chicago and have taught English in high schools in both
Green Bay and Chicago. On assignment at an
inner city parish in Chicago I met and worked with an
Adrian Dominican sister, Mary Grace Crowley. While ministering
in the parish
we fell in love
and married on August 7, 1976. We have two children,
Angela and Brian, and we live in Mt. Prospect.

As a married priest the Church will not allow me to administer the sacraments.
So one way I can express my priesthood is to
officiate at weddings. The Catholic
Church will not recognize this wedding as a sacrament, but it is a legal
ceremony which recognizes and celebrates the spirituality and values of the
bride and groom. Special perks: my wife, Mary Grace, usually accompanies
me
and is available to help co-ordinate the wedding ceremony if needed.
I am
also available to say the grace before the reception meal or anything else that
is needed.
